Specific Examples of Using PLR To Your Advantage

A few posts ago we spoke about using older PLR for your current campaigns. I thought a small series of exact samples might be in order here. People who are interested in one “thing” are often interested in related “things” OR, you look at places that you might find where their needs lie.<…….. that doesn’t look right!
For example: You’re running a campaign for a popular dating/relationship ebook. Speaking in terms of guys, you might find them on body-building sites and “geeky” sites, right? The kind of places where they go to make themselves more appealing to women. They might not even KNOW that they are looking for the perfect relationship, but then why are most men into body-building? (I’m talking average Joe, here).
Anyway, that was just a little side note – not to be too limited in where you are promoting your affiliate products.
Let’s take gardening. LOTS of vegetable gardeners are also flower gardeners. At Niche Helper there is a nice PLR ebook called “Vegetable Gardening Secrets”. If you’re in the flower garden niche why not offer this as a freebie to your list. Or set it up for downloading and post on any forums that you go to, telling the readers where to go to download it. (I’d suggest a squeeze page to gather emails, of course!
OR you could take this same little ebook and easily make 12-13 posts on your own blog. The jury is still out on how often you need to post to your blog to get (and keep) the search engines interested in it, and I have heard various opinions on the matter, but it seams that twice a week would be the minimum and 5-6 the best – it’s a lot of work even if you do have it set up to post automatically! Regardless, with this one small ebook, you will now have a minimum of two weeks of posts taken care of – time which you can happily use elsewhere.
The dating niche is huge, right? Attraction, conflict, online dating,marriage, divorce – it’s all connected really. Guys looking for girls are really just lacking in self-confidence or are TOO SHY to get a girlfriend. (same is true for girls). Niche Helper has “51 Ways To Overcome Shyness”. As with the gardening niche – the same thing applies here. GIVE the shyness guide away as an opt-in incentive. Then take another PLR “97 Steps to A Happy Relationship” (or several other “Romance” guides that will be on the site soon), and create a really good and informative email series – “97 lessons” (Well, I’d break that down or people will get bored to soon – but you get the general idea. Just make sure that you generate at least 7-10 emails for your series for the best results.
The absolute best part of using PLR this way is that there is very little editing involved, other than in breaking out your email series. There is no SEO to worry about and no Google slaps for duplicate content. You’re just giving away good, useful information to people who want it – who are asking for it!
