Using PLR As Added “Freebies” For Your Newsletter

Posted By Anne on July 20, 2009

Everybody, I mean EVERYBODY likes to get “freebies”. Anyone in any niche will remember getting a freebie – especially if it’s unannounced.

Why not give a PLR ebook or PLR report away within your newsletter – unannounced. If it’s an ecourse or an otherwise “timed” newsletter – one for which you are building up to garnish a sale – then GIVE a free PLR ebook or PLR report away. Send it out to your list several emails before you plan on sending the emails in the sequence with your “big” sales pitch for the product that you’re promoting.

Doing this helps tremendously in building a relationship with your subscribers. It also trains them to wait for your next email AND OPEN IT in the hopes that there is another freebie enclosed.

Be cautious with this method of using PLR, because you will not want to give away sometrhing in EVERY email. You want to turn your subscribers into paying customers and that will prove very hard to do if your actually giving them something with every email. Customers like freebies so much that they will almost always take it over a free product! LOL

When you do give something away, find a way to remind them that although this is a great product – it only touches the fringes of what you want to show them in the future. (the product your promoting, of course). Something to keep the edge and anticipation there and alive!

Besides PLR ebook and PLR Reports, PLR software and PLR scripts are great giveaways. You can use them more freely in some cases because if your promotion product is an ebook, then giving away a PLR software can only ehance your produt.

PLR sorfwtare ond PLR scripts – even slightly older ones – are still viable as time savers and learning devices. Don’t shrug them off too soon!
