Know What You’re Going To Do With Your PLR BEFORE You Buy!
Posted By Anne on October 7, 2009
It’s very critical that you know what you’re going to do with a PLR product before you buy it. There’s little worse when it comes to PLR than buying a nice new shiny PLR package about dog training or hair loss then discovering that you have no knowledge of the subject, even less interest and the niche is saturated beyond belief.
Before you buy, make sure you have an inkling of where you can sell your PLR. If you have a list in the self-help niche then a nice PLR package on time management or relaxation techniques might fit very very well alongside your existing products.
Naturally, this is easiest when you’re already settled into a nice solid niche; but when your beginning a new campaign it might just be a little bit less clear. PLR should be a part of every new campaign that you start. Even if you don’t purchase or use PLR ebooks or PLR reports in your new campaign, it can help you to know what is out there and what was being sold in the past. Doing this type of research can tell you what sells!
Know beforehand that your plan is to offer a good PLR ebook as an opt-in incentive. Or that you’re going to give away a good PLR repot on your blog.
Knowing what you’re going to do with a PLR product before you buy it helps you choose the right PLR product andhelps you avoid “PLR clutter” on your hard drive! It’s so easy to forget that you have something on your hard drive when you don’t use it right away - or when you save it in a “generic” spot and really forget about it - because you can’t find it again!
Each campaign should have their own folder and THIS is where you should put any PLR that you plan on using for that campaign. USE it - don’t lose it!

I’ve got a ton of PLR sitting on my hard drive right now that is waiting to be used. Your 100% correct in that you have to have a plan for what you’re going to use it for or it goes to waste.
