Using PLR to populate your own niche forum with content can help your forum get off the ground. It’s often VERY difficult (if not impossible),to get people to post in an empty forum.
Adding PLR content to your niche forum can give you a great jump start and if the posts are keyword rich, people will visit and post on their own.
Spark a good controversial discussion – something that will make people WANT to reply! Get your friends in to post and join the discussion.
You can also post in other forums and mention your “controversy”. Only do this if it’s allowed by the forum rules, however. It’s a good way to get things up and rolling.
PLR content used in your own niche forum will get found by the search engines, get people in to read and get them to stay and participate by good content. After that it’s up to you and your members!
